BIKING ECO TOURISM & NORTHERN VIETNAM RURAL LIFE

Day 01: Welcome to Hanoi capital (D)

-    You will be welcomed at Noi Bai airport with polite driver & comfortable private car.
-    Transfer to Hanoi old quarter, check-in hotel & relax.
-    Enjoy amazing street foods & walking around Old quarter, then enjoy water puppet show.

Day 02: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong national park (B/L/D)

AM: Our tour guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel at 08h00  in Hanoi capital & then depart to Ninh Binh. Stop at Van Long village and from Van Long you start to cycling until to Cuc Phuong National Park. Lunch at local restaurant.

PM: Go biking to the Park Centre and start trekking through the park to discover the diverse fauna and flora. Back to Cuc Phuong Guest house and visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre. Overnight at Cuc Phuong Guesthouse.

Day 03: Cuc Phuong national park – Trang An – Phat Diem – Hai Hau (B/L/D)

AM: After breakfast. Go biking to  to visit Trang An tourist attraction, Enjoy boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers. Lunch at local restaurant.

PM: Visit Phat Diem Church, one of the most beautiful and fabulous cathedral built by stone in Vietnam. Then, take a biking trip to Hai Hau district - one of the most famous rural life place in Nam Dinh province, check-in guest house, swimming at Thinh Long beach. Enjoy a delicious seafoods dinner & the sea atmosphere night.

Day 04: Thinh Long beach – Giao Thuy province (B/L/D)

AM: Doing biking trip through rural countryside's, passing beautiful hamlets, rice fields, salt fields, churches, pagodas, Fish sauce villages, Bonsai Gardens, seafood markets, schools...

Contemplate a beautiful Quat Lam church - one of the most ancient church in Nam Dinh province with a special architecture. Then swimming at the nice Quat Lam beach & Enjoy a seafoods lunch.

PM: You can bike back to Giao Xuan - one of five communes in the buffer zone of Xuan Thuy National Park, check-in homestay. Go fishing & cooking for dinner with local people.

Day 05: Giao Xuan - Giao Thuy National park tour & back to Hanoi (B/L)

AM: Get up early & experience the amazing atmosphere of fisherman at the habour, after night they go fishing far from the habour, they bring many kind of fishes back & sell to every one, then, passing local maket & take some foods for breakfast.

Biking or walking around villages to visit some ancient houses & fish sauce villages, pagodas, churches, temples, school & experience amazing local culture. Lunch at local house.

PM: Enjoy amazing boat trip through Xuan Thuy National park, seeing & taking picture of many type of Bird: Platalea minor, Eurynorynchus pygmeus, Limodromus semipanmatus, Tringa stagnatilis, Egretta eulohotes, Penecanus Philippensis... You also have chance to see the local people raises scallops at the scallop fields in the sea.

At night: afer delicious dinner with local family, you will enjoy "traditional music show" - A wonderful traditional operetta (Cheo) tunes performed by “farmer artists”.

Day 06: Nam Dinh – Hai Phong – Cat Ba island (B/L/D)

AM: After breakfast, transfer to Hai Phong city, passing Thai Binh province & many beautiful rice field of northern Vietnam. Then, take a fairy to get Cat Ba island. We will reach Cat Ba town around 11.00 am, check-in hotel & have lunch.

PM: Take a 4 hours boat tour to cruise around Lan Ha bay. You will have chance to see amazing limestone karts around the bay like "Paradise on Earth". Swimming at the nice beach or climbing in the Monkey mountain to take overview of Lan ha bay.

Day 07: Cat Ba island – Halong bay – Overnight on boat (B/L/D)

AM: You can get up early to visit morning market, swimming at the night beach, cycling around Cat Ba island town before checking-out hotel & transfer to Tuan Chau habour in Halong city.

PM: Check-in Halong bay cruise boat & cruising in Halong bay: Visit Surprise cave & do kayaking in the tranquil bay. Enjoy Sunset & Sunset party in Halong bay. Do cooking class lesson before a fantastic dinner. You will also have chance to do squid fishing or dancing, singing karaoke at night.

Day 08: Halong bay – Hanoi Airport (B/L)

AM: You can get up early & enjoy breathtaking view & peaceful atmosphere in the bay. Enjoy floating fishing village in Halong bay by small bamboo boat. Back to the Halong boat & check-out around 9.30 a.m while cruising back to habour. Enjoy a last lunch on boat.

PM: The tour guide & private car will take you back to Hanoi & fare well at the Noi Bai airport. The Northern Vietnam rural life package with Vietnam tonkin travel will be finished!

• Viet Nam is a developing country whose infrastructure may differ from what you expect in your homeland. Road conditions are poor and accommodation may be basic in mountain region.
  
• Good weather for trekking time from September until June of the year. We recommend you to bring rain jacket, inner sleeping sheets, walking boots, warm clothes, lamp torch, and toilet papers.
