The Night Before (Saturday)

7h30pm, We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai Station. Sleep on the train (4 berth cabin, soft sleeper). Overnight on train.

Day 01: SAPA LOCAL MARKET & HOMESTAY TOUR: Visiting Bac Ha market (on Sunday only) (B/L/D)

In the morning: you will arrive in Lao Cai station in early morning, our local guide will pick you up to enjoy breakfast. The go ahead Bac Ha local market. Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every Sunday - Bac Ha market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho Village, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a round about way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch the train or continue up to Sapa (two solutions for travelers).

Day 02: SAPA LOCAL MARKET & HOMESTAY TOUR: Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/LD)

6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village ​of the Black H’mong. 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. 

Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way.

• 12 Km trekking, 10 Km driving from Tavan village back to Sapa
• Tourist shared bus to Lao cai Station ​

Get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike. Bus to Lao Cai Station to get nig​ht train back to Hanoi.

Day 03: SAPA LOCAL MARKET & HOMESTAY TOUR: Arrive Hanoi

Tour end at Hanoi train station about 5h00 am. Please find your own way to your hotel, a taxi normally costs you a set of 50,000 VND (2-3 usd)

TRIP NOTE:

• Viet Nam is a developing country whose infrastructure may differ from what you expect in your homeland. Road conditions are poor and accommodation may be basic in mountain region.
• Good weather for trekking time from September until June of the year. We recommend you to bring rain jacket, inner sleeping sheets, walking boots, warm clothes, lamp torch, and toilet papers.
