SAPA HARD TREKKING TOUR & HOMESTAY 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

Day 01: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Va Villages (L/D)

Get pick up from the bus office in Sapa at 1:00PM to take you to our office (Golden Villa Hotel).

Have lunch at the hotel. We will then depart from the hotel at 2:30PM to walk down to Y Linh Ho, a village inhabited by the Hmong minority. This is a great opportunity to take photographs of hereditary terraces that are estimated around 100 years old. From Y Linh Ho Villages, we will make our way to Lao Chai village where you will visit the Hmong home town. Take a short break in Lao Chai, enjoy some drinks and the scenic views. You will then continue walk to Ta Van Villages, an established Hmong and Giay village. Here you will be warmly welcomed by a local Giay family and stay here for the night in their home-stay.

Day 02: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Ban Ho Villages (B/L/D)

Get the wake up by a rooster or the pigs, have breakfast with some pancakes, hot tea or hot coffee out door - you will be treated to sensational views across the rice terraces. After breakfast you'll say good bye to the local then trek through an enchanting bamboo forest, silk waterfall to Giang Ta Chai Villages. After a few hours of trekking, we will stop and enjoy a picnic lunch with our scenic views. We then keep treking to Ban Ho village and get the welcome by local Tay minority here.

Day 03: Ban Ho - Su Pan - Sapa (B/L)

Wake up at the home-stay and have breakfast here. Make a little walk along the river with breathtaking scenery surround to get to see Nam Toong village – the village of Red Dao minority. Walk back to Ban Ho Villages you could dip into fresh water which close to Lavie waterfall. After that come back to the home-stay to get some lunch before you get up on the car to go back to Sapa.

Get back to Sapa at around 2:00PM. Have shower at our hotel. At 3:00PM we will got a shuttle to drive you to the bus office, check-in the bus for you to go back to Hanoi. Before you leave we got to prepare you some sandwiches to take a way with you. Your sapa tours with Vietnam Tonkin travel will be finished.

TRIP NOTE:

• Viet Nam is a developing country whose infrastructure may differ from what you expect in your homeland. Road conditions are poor and accommodation may be basic in mountain region.
• Good weather for trekking time from September until June of the year. We recommend you to bring rain jacket, inner sleeping sheets, walking boots, warm clothes, lamp torch, and toilet papers.
• Occasionally, this itinerary may be amended for reasons beyond our control such as weather and roads conditions.

• Old people should not attend the long trek (9 kms) due to its challenge and danger in case of rain
• Handicapped people and children under 6 years old shouldn’t attend trekking

Thing to bring

• Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
• Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
• Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
• You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
