20 DAYS HIGHLIGHTS TOUR IN AROUND VIETNAM

Day 1: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Welcome to Hanoi - Pick up & hotel.

Day 2: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hanoi - Ha giang city (B/L/D) - Private tour.

AM: Transfer to Ha Giang, snapping picture on the way, Lunch on the way.
PM: In the late afternoon, check-in hotel & relax. Have dinner and overnight in Ha Giang city

Day 3: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Ha Giang - Yen Minh - Dong Van (B/L/D) - Private tour.

AM: Transfer to Yen Minh town for the lunch, passing Quan Ba.
Activities: Trekking to explore and snap picture in Quan Ba with "Heaven gate and Fairy Bosom".
PM: Keep going ahead Dong Van town, Passing Lung Cu flagpole.
Activities: Short walking to explore Hmong people's old town in Pho Cao village.
Trekking to contemplate and shoot picture in "Dong Van global karts plateau geo-park" and imposing Ma Li Peng pass. Walking to explore and relax in Meo Vac town and Dong Van Old street.

Trekking up to the top of Lung Cu Flagpole, see amazing panorama view from there. Continuing visit the Vuong’s Palace - The building used to belong to a King of H’mong people during the French domination. Have dinner and overnight in Dong Van.

Day 4: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Dong Van - Meo Vac - Ba Be lake (B/L/D) - Private tour.

AM: Explore Dong Van local market (only Sunday). Relaxation with short walking and shooting picture in Ma Li Peng pass and Meo Vac town.
PM: From Meo Vac town, transfer to Ba Be national park in Bac Kan province. Have dinner and overnight in Ba Be lake

Day 5: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Ba Be (B/L/D) - Private tour.

After breakfast your tour guide will take you on a trek to Pac Ngoi village where the local people live by fishing and growing rice and corn on the land of "Soi Bai". We will walk along the stream edge to view the stilt houses. We will borrow bikes from a local family and cycle to the Tày ethnic - 4 area where we explore an amazing cave in the mountain. The journey continues to Silk waterfall which is about another five km by bike. If it’s hot, copy the local kids and jump in and swim. We will have a picnic lunch at the waterfall.

In the afternoon we come back and leave the bikes and walk around Ba Be lake shore and try to capture some great photo shots of the sunset. We'll go to the local markets for souvenirs and then back to our Homestay by boat. Dinner and overnight at Bo Lu village.

Day 6: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Ba Be Lake - Back to Hanoi (B/L) - Private tour.

After breakfast at the Homestay, check out and leave the bags on the car. Don’t forget your camera though because today is a chance for some more great shots. Traveling on our private boat we go through the entire length of the 3 connected lakes (Ba Be - "3 bays") and up the Nang River, to an astonishing site, Puong cave, an enormous cave (300m long by 30m high) that the river has tunneled right through a limestone mountain.

The boat then goes up river to the small village of Tay people. Time to say goodbye to Mr Boatman, and we transfer to the car for our return journey, stopping for lunch on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at the night time. Check in hotel & relax.

Day 7: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D) - Group tour.

AM: Pick up & transfer to Halong bay.

PM: Cruising into Halong bay, kayaking & swimming in the tranquil bay. Overnight on boat

Day 8: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Halong bay - Hanoi - Overnight train to Sapa (B/L) - Group tour

AM: Visiting Halong bay & Cruising back to Habour.

PM: Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight train to Sapa.

Day 9: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Sapa package tour (B/L/D) - Group tour

AM: Sapa easy trekking to visit Cat Cat - Sin Chai villages.

PM: Free time to explore Sapa town & relax. Overnight in Sapa

Day 10: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Sapa - Hanoi (B/L/D) - Group tour.

AM:  Easy trekking to visit Lao Chai & Ta Van villages.

PM: Free time to go shopping before the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 11: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hanoi - Ninh Binh (B/L/D) - Group tour.

Train station early pick up, breakfast & relax. Join group tour to Ninh Binh. You will have chance to visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Visit Hoa Lu temple & experience amazing culture & histories about Vietnam's ancient capital.

In the afternoon, you will be taking the rowing boat at Tam Coc Harbour. Arranged by local people here, the boat is rowed by both hand and legs. The boat will take you to 3 spectacular caves with hundreds of limestone's on the way. If you travel during harvest season, you will see many terrace rice fields in golden colors. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 12: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hanoi - city - Hue (B/L) - Private tour

AM: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex: President palace, Ho Chi Min's Mausoleum, Museum, One pillar pagoda, fishes pond...

PM: Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 13: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hue City (B/L) - Group tour

Bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the Hue Citadel and Imperial City, which will take us about 2 hours. Tour guide will lead you to visit the tallest flag pole of Vietnam (37m-hight), Ngo Mon gate where Bao Dai ended Nguyen dynasty, Thai Hoa palace ( Palace of Supreme Hamony), Hall of the Mandarins, Forbidden Purple city…
10:00am: We transfer to Thien Mu pagoda which built on a hillock overlooking the Perfume river, this pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and the symbol of Hue city.

11:30am: We come back Hue city and have lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant with Hue specialties.
13:30pm: We visit Minh Mang tomb. It was said to be the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. Renowned for its architecture, which harmoniously blends into the nature surroundings. Then, we visit Emperor Khai Dinh tomb, the 12th king of the Nguyen Dynasty, is located at Thuy Bang, Huong Thuy district, Thua Thien Hue, away from Hue city about 10 kilometers.
17:00pm: Come back Hue city. Overnight in Hue.

Day 14: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hue - Quang Binh - Phong Nha (B/L) - Group tour

Depart from Hue for 2 and half hours to Phong Nha Caves. On the way we stop to visit some of the most famous battle-field in Vietnam War, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, lying in the Demilitarized Zone of the Vietnam war. Have a lunch at at local restaurant then getting on boat and cruise along the river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves. After on boat for 700m, a large dry passage is appear, then you can walk to discover the cave for 500m more. You will have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside. Return to Hue at night. Check in hotel & relax.

Day 15: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Hue - Hoi An - My Son (Private tour) - B/L - Private tour.

Local guide pick you up at the hotel’s lobby an depart for Hoi An & visit the ancient Cham ruins of My son. Once there ,visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the the former administration centre of champa kingdom. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My son including ancient towers which were built from 4th C. Then go to the dock and board on boat cruise along Thu Bon river back to Hoi an with picnic lunch. On the way we will stop at Carpentry village, Pottery village and Cam Ha fish market. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 16: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Cu Lao Cham - Danang - Sai Gon (B/L) - Group tour

8:00: Local tour guide pick up you at the hotel’s lobby, you will be transferred to Cua Dai harbor to register with the Border Police before heading to the islands. when Arriving in the island, your guide will take you to the showroom where the history, map, objects are displayed. visiting Au Thuyen where the local boats are hidden in big storms, walking along the rice field to the over-100-years-old temple of Hai Tang.
9:50 –11:00: back to the boat for snorkeling for half an hour at Xep beach. Here you can swim, see the forest of nice coral under the sea, then go to Chong beach for lunch and relax.
14:00: Back to Cua Dai estuary where out vehicle will take you back to Hoi An. Take a flight to Saigon.

Day 17: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Sai Gon Cu Chi tunnel (B/L) - private tour.

In the morning, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnel to see the complicate tunnel system the Vietnamese built in the war time. In the afternoon, drive back to the Ho Chi Minh city and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Pot Office, the Chinatown of the city with the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai). Overnight in Saigon

Day 18: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Sai Gon - Vinh Long - Can Tho (B/L)

Morning, pick up at your hotel and transfer about 136km to Vinh Long, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Be floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging goods from their boats, and then go to Binh Hoa Phuoc islet where the maze o shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a chance to mighle with local peasants; learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the families produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life. A typical Vietnamese lunch at a local home will be arranged.

Afternoon, drive to Can Tho and check in hotel. In the evening, wandering around the night market will be recommended for you to have some evening exercise after dinner. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 19: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Can Tho - Sai Gon (B/L)

Rise early morning for a private boat trip to take part in the Cai Rang floating market. Your boat will start from Ninh Kieu and sail along the Can Tho River. You will enjoy watching bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. Particularly, you may know how local people go fishing with plenty of fish traps and how they transport passengers as well as products by waterway. Then take part in Cai Rang Floating Market to enjoy selling & buying activities with the traditional signal “offering pole” (exchanging goods hung on the pole to introduce people what the boat is selling). To understand more about lifestyle over here, keep on going into the small creeks called Rach Nho in which the Southern countryside can be seen clearly before cruising back to Ninh Kieu Wharf.

After Lunch in Can tho, we depart back to Sai Gon. Overnight in Sai Gon.

Day 20: VIETNAM PACKAGE TOURS: Transfer airport (B)

Free time to relax or go shopping before the time to the airport for the next destination. The package tour with Vietnam tonkin travel will be finished.
