CAT BA MONKEY ISLAND & LAN HA LEGEND CRUISE TRIP

DAY 01: CAT BA ISLAND CRUISE: HANOI - HAI PHONG - CAT BA MONKEY ISLAND (B/L/D)

AM: Pick up from hotel in Hanoi Old quarter by shuttle bus & transfer to Cat Ba Island.

At the noon time: Check-in Cat Ba monkey island bungalow, relax & have lunch.

Free time in the afternoon. You will have time for free activities like swimming, kayaking or trekking up mountain to see the panorama of Lan Ha bay with hundreds of islands on the emerald water. You can play football or volley ball on the beach in the afternoon or you can play billiard, pingpong or table football any time in the first floor of the restaurant.

In the evening, you can go up to the mountain bar to drink, singing karaoke with alot of friends from all countries around the world. Have some fantasy dancing before going to bed for a good sleep.

For more activities, you can also rent a private boat to take you to Lan Ha bay where you will see alot of beautiful islands and beaches. The boat will stop at a very lovely place for swimming and diving.

In winter, Monkey Island Resort organize " Warm up friendship" activity with a burning fire place in the second floor of center house. All tourists will seat around to warm up, make friends, listen to music, singing and everyone will enjoy a free Vietnamese Traditional rice wine.

DAY 02: CAT BA ISLAND CRUISE: CAT BA MONKEY ISLAND - LAN HA LEGEND CRUISE - KAYAKING & SWIMMING (B/L/D)

(Option 1: Customers will pay 30 USD per person more: Visit Cat Ba island town & Cat Ba national park in the morning:

- After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up back to the habour, private car around Cat Ba island town, the keep heading to Cat Ba national park. Enjoy 2 or 3 hours trekking through the Kim Giao forest (which provides the wood for chopsticks) to the top of the mountain where you can see a breath taking view of valleys. Bird watching and if you are lucky, you will see some wild animals: Squirrels, snakes, frogs, thousands of butterflies…

- Come down, relax & keep heading to the habour where we will get on boat for Lan Ha bay & Ha Long bay cruise trip. Enjoy welcome drinks & fresh towel)

Option 2: AM: Free time in the morning to relax, do swimming, kayaking in Monkey island.

10.30: Check out Bunglow, transfer to Gia Luan Habour, get on Lan Ha Legend Cruise.

12.30: Check-in your cabin. Enjoy fresh seafood lunch. The cruise will escape crowded Halong bay, keep sailing toward Lan Ha bay & Bai tu long bay where less touristy, quiet & cleaner than Halong bay. You will have chance to take photographs when we passing amazing islands, islets, beaches: Finger islet, Frog islet, Teapot islets, Dark & Bright cave...

15h00: Kayaking around Dark & Bright cave area which are located under water a millions of years ago & you may even see wild monkeys. This is also the most beautiful lagoon in Lan Ha bay for kayaking activities. If you don't like to do kayaking, you can sit on the sampan boat which is controlled by fisherman to go around.

17h00: back to the boat, go up the huge sundeck & enjoy small sunset party with local fruits & tea. You will have chance to jump off from the boat into the emerald water, swimming in free style.

The Cruise will anchor at the tranquil lagoon among Bai tu long bay and Lan ha bay

Our Barbecue dinner will be served on the top deck (if the waether permits) or at the cozy restaurant with fresh seafood

Evening: You can enjoy Squid fishing, karaoke, dancing, using bar services, play funny games...

DAY 03: LAN HA LEGEND CRUISE: LAN HA BAY - HALONG BAY - GO FISHING - BACK TO HABOUR (B/L)

Waking up for a new day to enjoy sunrise and recharge your energy with fresh breakfast, tea, coffee & cake which is ready to serve you from 7h00 - 8h30.

Following the unique route will lead you visit a small beautiful lagoon with some original floating house where we experience the daily life & culture, go catching fishes with nets & local people. If you catch fishes, you & our chef will cook for funny meal. This is amazing activities which only our cruise arranges. Or you can relax & enjoy a calm morning on boat, swimming around the cruise in the emerald water.

Around 9h30: Back to the Lan Ha Legend boat, check-out time & enjoy a cooking class (Vietnamese Spring Roll making) when the boat cruising back to habour. You also have last chance to take amazing photos about limestone karts in Halong bay.

An early lunch will be served on boat before arriving at the habour.

12h30: Disembark & back to Hanoi. Finish.

TRIP NOTE:

• Viet Nam is a developing country whose infrastructure may differ from what you expect in your homeland. Road conditions are poor and accommodation may be basic in mountain region.
• Good weather for trekking time from September until June of the year. We recommend you to bring rain jacket, inner sleeping sheets, walking boots, warm clothes, lamp torch, and toilet papers.
• Occasionally, this itinerary may be amended for reasons beyond our control such as weather and roads conditions.​

• Under 05 yro: free of charge (sharing bed with parents)
